Three steps. No account.

  1. Drop a file

Pick an image or drag it onto the page. It’s checked and opened by your browser.

  2. Adjust

Set the size, quality, crop, or look. Previews are rendered by the same engine as the result.

  3. Download

Save the new file. Your original is never changed, and nothing was uploaded.

Private because of how it works, not because we promise.

  • Processed in your browser

Files are decoded, edited, and encoded on your device. Nothing is sent to a server or stored.

  • Other sites are blocked

The production site tells the browser to refuse requests to any other website, so an image can’t leave by mistake.

  • No tracking

No analytics, ads, or cookies. Tools that would need a server or an AI service are marked Planned and can’t be used yet.

Questions people ask

Is Image Edtr free?

Yes. There is no account, payment, or usage cap. The only limits are technical ones that keep your browser stable: files up to 50 MB and 40 megapixels, and 50 files per batch.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Every tool reads and processes the file inside your browser, on your device. The production site also tells the browser to block requests to other websites, so an image cannot be sent elsewhere by mistake.

Which image formats are supported?

You can open JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), BMP, and AVIF when your browser can decode it, plus SVG in the SVG to PNG tool. You can save JPEG, PNG, and WebP where your browser can encode them.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. Every tool and the photo editor work in current mobile browsers. Very large images may hit the phone's memory limit, in which case the tool explains what happened.

Is my original file changed?

No. Tools never modify the file you open. They create a new file that you download only when you choose to.
