About Image Edtr

Image Edtr is a set of focused image tools plus a photo editor. Everything that is available today runs in your browser using its built-in image decoders, canvas, and encoders, so your files stay on your device.

What works today

Compress, resize, crop, rotate and flip, convert, batch processing with ZIP download, color adjustments, text watermarks, collages, palette extraction, favicon generation, safe SVG rasterizing, and the photo editor. See all tools.

Current limits

  • Files up to 50 MB and 40 megapixels; longest side up to 16,384 px.
  • Up to 50 files per batch, processed 2 at a time.
  • Output formats are JPEG, PNG, and WebP where your browser can encode them. AVIF and HEIC output are not offered.
  • Animated GIF and WebP files are read as their first frame.
  • Color profiles and metadata are not preserved when re-encoding.

Supported browsers

Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Features are detected at runtime; anything missing is explained rather than hidden.
